Welcome to Summoners War Rift of Worlds In-depth guide!

This discussion will help you decide how to create or enhance your current Rift dungeon teams on defeating the boss.

Details

Raid Beast Type: Fire
Target Rating: A+, S, SS, SSS (depending on your total damage)

Drops:

  • Runes (Fight, Determination, Enhance, Accuracy, Tolerance)
  • Enchanted Gems and Grindstones
  • Flaming Fire Crystals
  • Condensed Magic Crystals
  • Pure Magic Crystals
  • Rune Piece, Rainbowmon, MS, Summoning stone, Shapeshifting Stone

*Note: It is important to defeat the Raid Beast rather than settle for a mediocre run since it gives you more amount of drops and makes your farming efficient. Saves time and energy!

Fire Beast Overview

First let’s look at the Fire Beast skill. It is essential to understand the mechanics behind each move so that you can properly create a strategic team against the boss.

Fire Sweep:
Becomes frenzy whenever an enemy attacks. Attacks all enemies 2 times to stun them. Greatly increases the damage and the chances to stun the enemies proportionate to the number of times the Beast becomes frenzy. The frenzy effect will reset after the attack.

Fire Minion Summoning:
Attacks all enemies 3 times with an enraged roar and summons 8 Fire Minions. The HP of the Fire minions will increase every time the Fire Minion Summoning is used. Fire Minion: The Fire Minions can only be removed by the wide-area attacks, and the remaining Fire Minions will perform Self Destruction Attacks to inflict damage proportionate to their MAX HP on all enemies when the beast uses a different skill. You can inflict damage to the Beast if you remove the Fire Minions before they perform the Self Destruction Attacks.

*Note: This is the Fire Beast’s signature skill. Fire minions can only be removed by wide-area attacks, and you must get rid of them before they explode to minimize the damage.

*Tip: use AOE attackers to clear the fire minions (Sigmarus, Water Homie AOE, Taor, Beth, Alicia, Verad, etc.)

Thorn of Despair:
attacks the enemies in the frontline 2 times with a sharp thorn. The damage increases substantially as the target’s Defense decreases. This attack will target the backline if there are no enemies left in the frontline.

*Tip: you can minimize the damage by placing monsters with high DEF in the frontline (Mo Long, Colleen with DEF stats, Verad, etc.)

Burning Rageful Breath:
Removes all beneficial effects on all enemies and attacks them 6 times with fire breath. Makes the remaining Fire Minions explode to inflict great damage.

Twisted Body (Passive):
Weakens the effect that inflict damage proportionate to the HP with a twisted power and gains immunity against all harmful effects. The immunity against all harmful effects will be removed during the Groggy State. Additionally, increases the damage received from water monsters by 50% and increases the damage dealt to wind monsters by 50%.

Why farm Rift Beasts?

This game content is more for mid to late-game players. Since the latest game update, it is now a growing popularity to farm Rift Beasts in crafting Homunculus and new generation runes, gems and grindstones (Fight, Determination, Enhance, Accuracy, Tolerance).

The rune requirement is quite high, but most importantly you need the right team of monsters for every Rift Beast because each has its own unique attack type and weaknesses.

Getting Started

Unit Recommendations

Awakened Colleen Summoners War Colleen

She is the backbone of your team that helps sustain via healing and gives a 3-turn attack increase buff. Aside from being a low cooldown 3rd skill, she spams whenever it’s ready allowing perma attack buff on your team.

  • Rune Set

Rank A+ to S: Violent / Rev

SPD / HP% / HP% or DEF%

* A more sustainable build that is also similar from Necropolis build. However, support violent procs are counter productive if you target a high damage score on raids.

Rank S and above: Non Violent Set

SPD / HP% / HP% or DEF%

* Violent proc steals a turn from your nukers and result to a huge loss of damage points during boss groggy state. If you plan for an efficient SS or SSS run, it is best to remove your violent set from your sustain mons.

  • Minimum Stats

SPD: 180 (should be the fastest unit on your team so she applies the buff before your nukers attack)

 Xiao Lin

Main damage dealer with 1st skill def break. Her Water Dragon Attack deals tremendous amount of damage to boss and an additional 15% damage for each harmful effect of the enemy, which gives a lot of bonus damage points while the boss is on groggy state. She works well with Colleen since her 1st and 2nd skill applies debuffs.

We prefer using her over Theomars in cases where you have better lead units like Zaiross or Poseidon (Atk power +33%) and alike. But you can also use them both if your units are limited and if you need the +24% crit lead.

 Hwahee

Damage dealer, healer and attack buffer in 1 unit. If your team is equipped with high-grade runes, we recommend using her for a consistent SS/SSS rating and remove Colleen as your sustain monster since Hwahee provides a better damage output. The only downside is her AI tends not to use her Amuse skill even if all her skills are all ready, missing out the heal and attack buff on your team unlike Colleen who usually uses her 3rd skill when ready. If your team needs more sustain, use Colleen instead of Hwahee.

Main damage dealer and sustains the HP of your team by healing 10% each turn. One of the reasons why some go for YOLO teams with no dedicated healer unit like Colleen. Also a good frontline monster (Eternity passive allows him to revive after death with cooldown of 8 turns).

Most importantly this unit has the best lead skill (+44% Atk power to allies)

2 AOE skills with a 2-turn def break on her 1st skill. She’s reliable even if you run her as your sole AOE damage unit, additionally she gains another turn if her 3rd skill kills an enemy unit including fire minions. Her base DEF is also high so she’s a viable front line unit.

 Bastet

A great support monster that provides a 3-turn attack buff and creates a shield on your allies for 3 turns. Although her 2nd skill is AOE, it is unreliable to clear the fire minions with this skill. She also applies debuffs using her 2nd skill (def break, glancing hit, disturb HP recovery) which is good if your nukers have debuff scaling attacks (Xiao Lin, Homunculus Erruption). Bastet is one of the reasons why some go for YOLO teams with no dedicated healer unit like Colleen.

This unit has a leader skill of +33% DEF to allies.

This unit is perfect to run with support units like Colleen and Bastet.
