Dungeons: Cairos Dungeons wise, Sieq will be a huge help for players clearing the early stages of every dungeon except the Hall of Water. He’ll be the more offensive version of Shannon and will be doing the bulk of your single-target damage against the bosses. However, as you climb up the different dungeons, you’ll realize that his squishiness will hold him back immensely. At this point, Shannon or Megan will be a better option over Sieq, especially in making your first GB10 team.
Raids: Colleen does a much better job than Sieq over here as an attack buffer, making him pretty irrelevant. You shouldn’t be using Sieq in any situation here since you would already have gotten some better nukers out there by this point.
ToA: Like dungeons, you can use Sieq as your fire nuker in the low levels of ToA. Beyond that, monsters like Shannon and Baretta will make Sieq obsolete here. You won’t really need an offense buffer like Sieq until you’re looking for a speed-clear team, and Galleon will be the better choice then.
PvP: Sieq will likely be your strongest nuker early on in the game. His attack and critical rate buff will allow your nukers like Lapis and Lucien hit even harder, while his own damage isn’t something to laugh at. Once again, however, his poor frame makes him hard to use later on. There’s little reason to use Sieq once better attack buffers like Megan and even Colleen come into play. By that point, his utility has a fire nuker will be replaced by much better options too.
How to Counter
Nobody will build a tanky Sieq since that defeats the purpose of his good base attack and damage, so literally every Sieq you see in defense will be squishy. A single, strong hit will kill him, even without attack buff. You just need to be aware of the attack buff he brings, so do try to outspeed him with an attack buffer and take him out.
- Make sure that Sieq is always the fastest monster in your team. You want him to give that sick 3-turn attack and critical rate buff to your other monsters
- Just go full on attack on Sieq, HP isn’t really useful at all
Don’t underestimate Sieq just because he’s the first monster you ever summoned in the game. He brings tons of utility early on and will be one of the key factors in letting you clear the first couple Scenario and Cairos Dungeon stages. Past that point, his squishiness holds him back far too much to be useful. The only use for him past early-game is as an offensive buffer in Lushen teams to kill any surviving fire monsters. However, any stray attack will likely kill Sieq, and Megan will replace him later on due to her attack bar increase (which helps in speed tuning your monsters).
- One of the earliest attack and critical rate buffer you can get in the game
- 3-turn attack and critical rate buff
- Good base attack
- Decent damage multipliers
- Good base speed
- Extremely squishy
- No debuffs
