Site Review
Dungeons: Strong contender for one of the key monsters in DB10 for both new and speed teams. Both his passive and leader skill makes him invaluable in your team.
- For new DB10 teams, Verdehile’s passive synergizes well with staple DB10 monsters such as Veromos to keep DoTs off your team. His leader skill also lowers the speed requirement needed, allowing you to even build a slower, Violent Veromos.
- Verdehile continues to serve his role well into mid-game teams as you transition to faster runs.
- Verdehile should not be used in GB10 or NB10 due to his elemental disadvantage and unusable passive at the boss stage respectively.
Raids: Due to the consistent state of the Oblivion debuff from the boss (even with cleanse and immunity from your teams) as well as not contributing any debuffs himself, Verdehile is a poor choice for Raids.
ToA: Unfortunately, his leader skill does not work in this area of the game. However, his passive continues to serve as a useful tool in cycling your team’s turns.
PvP: Verdehile typically serves as a useful, consistent attack bar booster to help sustain your team. However, he noticeably falls off in usage the further you progress your PvP teams.
Other advice:
- As tempting as it may seem, Verdehile’s 2nd Skill should not be maxed. The cooldown reduction will reduce his overall effectiveness during your auto runs as there will be less attack bar increase overall
- Commonly used together in a Veromos+Belladeon+Verdehile combo in Guild War Defense in lower rank Guild Wars. This is a great team earlier on but becomes less effective once you get stronger, faster monsters that can counter the team.
- Pairs very well with other Attack Bar Manipulators such as Hwa and Spectra in both DB10 and ToA
- Arguably the best leader skill for Dungeons
- Pretty high damage on his 2nd Skill
- Passive activates on Revenge procs
- Can be used in many parts of the game
- Useful for all players, be it early-game or end-game
- Has to be built the full 100% crit rate to be reliable
- Passive does not work together with other Verdehile’s Passives
- Below average base speed makes him hard to be your typical Arena speed booster
+hits twice on each skill
+add racuni and your turn never ends
+self-sustainable without vampire (!) runes
+fusible = easily maxed
+passive works with revenge too
-everyone has him and is meta on rta, so everyone will use him
-nobody is perfect
His skills got updated so you can max his 2nd skills as he hitting twice
I assume there’s work to be done with the latest update patch, but with the latest buff making Verde’s S2 a double hit as well, it is no longer a trap to max his skills out as it was before. A very much needed change, for a long time coming.
Ah thanks I was wondering why they discourage tu max skill it as the 2nd skill says it’s a double hit
I guess it’s because his 1st skill attack twice so the crit chance will be higher than one 2nd skill, even with CR bonus.
they did it!
