Site Review

Dungeons: Brig’s multiple debuffs makes him useful for a starting GB10 team. All of his debuffs actually makes him a useful counter on the boss stage. With the beneficial effect block, it prevents the boss from receiving the attack buff from the towers, while the attack debuff makes your runs safer. The best way to rune him here is as a hybrid monster, giving him enough bulk to survive a couple of hits, but still do decent damage on the boss.

Raids: While the debuffs seems tempting, you’re very likely to have better alternatives here. Attack and defense breaks can be found on multiple monsters, and Brig’s damage does not make him stand out at all.  His Wind brother, Barque, is a much better choice for the runs.

ToA: Similar to raids, Brig does not bring much to the table for ToA. With single target debuffs, a Bernard will be more than enough to take up the role of Brig. Only use him here if you’re really desperate for an attack break nuker.

PvP: Brig can be a somewhat useful choice for PvP. Brig can be used against Theomars / Chasun defenses. You can choose to build him as a support in order to ensure that the 3rd Skill will not kill a Theomars. With a beneficial block, the enemy’s Chasun will be unable to give Theomars an attack buff, while the attack break will make sure he hits like a wet noodle.

Other advice:

  • Accuracy is vital for his debuffs to land, try to aim upwards of 60% if you’re using him in a PvP setting.
  • Brig’s most unique factor is as a single target Light Nuker, which is a pretty rare kit overall. However, it is difficult to say that he can be a reliable monster past early-game arena due to his poor overall stats.

Pros

– 100% chance to def break on 1st Skill
– 3rd Skill has a 100% chance to apply 3 useful debuffs when maxed on a 3 turn cooldown
– 3rd Skill has an 800% multiplier
– Good 108 base speed

Cons

– Defense break only lasts 1 turn
– Heavily requires maxed skill ups to be useful
– Poor base attack for an attacker
– No standout stats at all
– Beneficial block appears after damage is done, making him unusable as a Theomars counter
