Overview: Melissa can pack quite the punch with her third skill but best of all, she helps against automatic shields from the likes of Khmun and Rina; as well as damage that goes through Invincibility for Halphas and Chloe. The rest of her skills are basic mediocre Chakram dancer skills that don’t really shine, but its her third skill that makes her unique.
Dungeons: Before the nerf, they were an absolute beast for dungeons and were clearing record times. The twins combo is still Viable for Necro10 partnered with a good Boomerang counterpart.
TOA: Not extremely useful for TOA Hard, but might be a good pick up for TOA normal for certain stages such as the Halphas one.
Raids: Melissa does not provide the damage or support skills that are essential for effective raid compositions. Not recommended. For Rifts, Melissa might be useful for Dark Rift paired with a Boomerang Warrior.
PvP Arena: Melissa does provide a 33% HP lead for Arena and since Arena allows for full team set-up unlike RTA. You do have the option of bringing a Boomerang Warrior for the added twins bonus. Though it’s highly recommended at the top tier level that you have extremely fast runes and utilize her as a full offensive unit with runes set-up accordingly.
PvP RTA: Unfortunately, during the Ban Phase, most RTA opponents probably won’t let you get away with having both a Charkam Dancer and a Boomerang Warrior and will essentially ban one of them to reduce the risk of being run-over. Though as a stand alone monster, Melissa does provide the HP 33% lead buff and a counter to damage reduction buffs. Provided that she is set-up with extraordinary runes, she might be able to one-shot some key monsters through invincibility or shields. She gains extra damage from both beneficial and harmful effects and the Boomerang Warrior that she brings along will also ignore all effects as well.
PVP GW/SW: Melissa could be utilized to fight Rina, Woosa, Chloe, and Halphas combos. Just make sure you have the right set-up to completely take out the monster you are gunning for. As a gentle reminder, Melissa just ignores the buff and doesn’t remove it and thus it still stays on and they are able to protect themselves from other attacks.
How To Counter: Firstly, banning any of her sibling counterparts will effectively reduce their capabilities together. But overall, the Chakram Dancers are quite squishy with their low base HP and can easily be taken down. With her middle grade base speed, she won’t be out-speeding any opponents alone.
- Works well with Bastet and Megan for ATB and ATK Power boost
- Mediocre to decent all around Base Stats. A little low on the base HP.
- Choice of Boomerang Warrior to pair her with will depend on opponents team composition
