Site Review

Dungeons: A decent attack bar manipulator for GB10, Logan’s 3rd Skill increases the survivability of the team by reducing the number of turns the final boss gets. Also, his elemental advantage and decent supportive stats allows him to survive a hit or two. Violent works best with this to increase the number of turns, but early-game players will get some use out of him as long as he’s fast. If the enemy’s attack bar isn’t depleted down to ZERO, he won’t be getting an additional turn, so speed is important. A well-runed and timed Logan allows him to get at the very least two-turns off, which dishes out a good amount of damage against the boss.

Raids: Logan again has uses here as an attack bar manipulator. His 3rd Skill knocks out a good 60% of the boss’ attack bar with a slow debuff, while his 2nd Skill offers a defense break too. However, he is heavily outclassed by Barque and Hwa, both of which offer more consistent attack bar decreases. He works fine in early raid teams, but shouldn’t be used past that.

ToA: None of the Neostone Fighters have usage in ToA, largely due to the lack of debuffs they bring, and Logan is no different. While his debuffs are useful, the fact that they’re single-targeted makes him irrelevant when compared to monsters like Baretta, Spectra and Aria. There’s little reason to use him here unless you’re still in very early-game.

PvP: Logan’s kit doesn’t synergizes well in PvP at all. It is extremely difficult to vastly outspeed the enemy to the point where his 60% attack bar decrease (and additional turn) will come into play. And by that point, the enemy nukers will likely get a turn off and kill one of your monsters. The situation where it does happen comes so rarely that it just isn’t worth building one for it.

How to Counter

Logan’s niche is his ability to proc an additional turn on his 3rd Skill, which is difficult to come by. As long as your team is decently fast, that will never happen in the first round of the fight, something nukers like Logan heavily rely on to be useful. Treat Logan as any typical wind nuker, you don’t need to bring anything special just for him.

Other advice:

  • Speed and accuracy are vital on Logan. Get as much speed as you can and at least 45% accuracy on Logan if you’re using him in your GB10 team

Editor’s Note

Frankly speaking, Logan’s kit just isn’t really that great. Beyond his self-reliant buffs and defense break, his 3rd Skill has an absurd condition that’ll rarely happen in normal PvP content. The fact that his base attack and multipliers are average just makes it all the more worse for him. His only viable spot in the game is as an attack bar manipulator in early-game raids or GB10 teams. Beyond that, he simply just isn’t worth building at all.

Somewhat decent for GB10, he has extremely limited uses beyond that.

Comments Rating 6.93/10 (3 reviews)

– Good damage for early GB10 teams
– Good chance of turn-recovery thanks to 3rd Skill
– Self-reliant attack buff and defense break

– Average base stats
– Very reliant on accuracy for his 3rd Skill to reliably proc
– 3rd Skill only has an additional turn if attack bar is reduced to zero
