Every new game comes with a little bit a learning curve to understand the lingo (slang language used by other players). Don’t worry though, you’ll catch on very quickly after reading this guide!
- AD – Arena Defense
- AO – Arena Offense
- AOE – Area of Effect; Attacks that hit all monsters
- Buff – Positive Status Effect (ie. Stat Boosts)
- De-Buff – Negative Status Effects; can also refer to removal of positive status effects.
- DOT – Damage Over Time
- Food/Fodder – Monsters used to evolve or increase the skills of other monsters.
- M Scroll – Mystical Scroll
- Nuke – Offensive strategy of attacking hard and fast; also refers to high attack monsters.
- PVP – Player verses Player; in this case, arena.
- PVE – Player verses Environment; in this case, dungeons.
- SD – Secret Dungeon; Dungeons obtained randomly while doing elemental Halls in Cairos. Collect all the pieces to summon. At least 1 piece guaranteed after Stage 3.
- Tank – Strategy of out-lasting opponents due to high defense or hp; also refers to high defense or hp monsters.
- ToA – Trial of Ascension
- U Scroll – Uncommon Scroll
- S – Simple (For early game users)
- A Advance (For late game users)
- A2 = Alternative Advance (Alternative build that may change how a unit works)
- SA = Simple and Advance (Works both early game and late game)
- Dg = Dungeon (Used specifically for dungeons and are generally considered late game)
- Ar = Arena (Used specifically for dungeons and are generally considered late game)
